2019-20 AWORI SCHOLARS PROGRAM
A Scholarship Program of CANDID – Coalition of Aworis and Descendants in Diaspora
This scholarship program is predicated on CANDID’s philosophy that this point of ascent in students academic career is the best level at which to start out supporting brilliant, but indigent students who are ripe to make
career decisions on fields of specialization – sciences, arts etc. The progress of such beneficiaries will be monitored towards providing them needed
support towards pursuing further academic undertakings at chosen Nigerian institutions of higher learning.

CANDID VISION
CANDID will advocate the cause of the Awori people, and provide a pedestal for Aworis in Diaspora to work together on the common goal of enhancing the socio-political wealth of the Aworis and their Descendants in their various communities.
CANDID STRATEGY
Through international and local collaboration and partnerships, CANDID aims to provide high quality free social services to the under-represented, under-served, less-privileged indigenes, especially women and children, within Africa’s most populous economic hub, geographically situated in Lagos and Ogun States in Nigeria.
