VISION

CANDID will advocate the cause of the Awori people and provide a platform for Aworis in Diaspora to work together on the common goal of enhancing the socio-political wealth of the Aworis and descendants in their various communities.

MISSION

CANDID’s 5-point
aims and objectives are as follows:

  1. To encourage individual and group participation of Aworis in the development of various Awori communities by facilitating opportunities for Awori in Diaspora to meet, interact, exchange views and ideas, share experiences and coordinate activities for the overall benefit of Aworis.
  2. To be a forerunner in the upliftment of educational, social and economic development of Awori communities by embarking on programs designed for those purposes.
  3. To act as a vehicle of information exchange between the government and the public on one hand; and the Awori populace on the other hand by organizing debates, seminars, workshops and conferences; and by utilizing all communication media available for addressing issues that Aworis in the Diaspora consider significant to the socio-political and economic interests of Awori.
  4. To serve as a force in the projection and preservation of the unity, culture and tradition of the Awori people.
  5. To cooperate with other associations, clubs, individuals and groups, in order to accomplish these goals.
